The Unseelie Heir’s
Claim
Courts in Conflict Book 3
by Elisa Rae
Genre: Light Fantasy Romance, Romantasy
The Unseelie throne is in crisis, and the whole Wild Wood is
in an uproar as the hunt is on for the missing heir. Kent is aware of the news,
and even the humans just beyond the borders of fae land have heard rumors. He
didn’t think it had anything to do with him. But then he comes home to a
Dullahan in his mother’s kitchen claiming Kent is the lost heir.
Rue doesn’t belong. Left on the doorstep of the foundling home as a baby, she
only knows she has some fae blood. Now an adult, she hides her differences from
the humans beneath a quiet demeanor. But that doesn’t stop her from seeing
magical things, like a glowing crown on the head of her new friend.
The Unseelie Heir’s Claim is a
light, fantasy romance novella about a relationship between an Unseelie and a
fae of mixed blood. It features a reluctant lost heir, fated mates, and a
romance between a noble and a servant, all played out against a backdrop of the
peril, politics, and uncertainty of the Unseelie Court in crisis.

“The table is dirty.” A small, young woman appeared at my
side and regarded me with confusion. Her mossy-green eyes studied me from
beneath a ring of thick braids and a curtain of escaped curls. Small in
stature, she appeared to be a drab replacement for her more vibrant coworker.
However, I knew that appearances were often deceiving, especially considering
she had approached without triggering my heightened senses.
I offered her a nod in greeting.
“The location serves my purpose,” I pointed out.
She considered this for a moment before nodding in return.
Stacking the dirty dishes, she began clearing the tabletop. “Do you intend to
eat?”
“Is the food any good?”
“I hear it is.”
“Don’t you eat it?”
She shook her head as she scraped the crumbs from the
tabletop into a bowl in the stack the previous patron had left. “The food is
for paying customers.”
My stomach growled. “Then, yes, I will eat.”
“I will send Misha over after I wash the table.” She muscled
the stack of dishes into her arms and set off toward the door at the back,
which I assumed led to the kitchen.
The blonde, who I assumed was named Misha, finished flirting
with a boisterous patron and then sashayed over to me with a seductive
expression. “Did I overhear correctly, stranger? You wish to order something?”
Thankfully, I hadn’t shed my cloak. I tugged the edge of my
hood lower and frowned at her. “What is available?”
“Cottage pie, venison stew, or roast chicken are on the
menu. Each comes with bread baked this morning and a mug of water, cider, or
mead. Your choice.” She settled her hip against the edge of the table and
leaned toward me with an overly warm smile.
“Venison stew and cider,” I informed her in a flat tone.
“And I wish to speak with your employer.”
Her smile dropped as she frowned at me in confusion. “To
complain?”
“I need to speak with the tavern keeper.”
She pouted. “I’ve done nothing wrong.”
“Never said you did.” I stared her down.
The green-eyed woman approached us with a cloth and a crock
of water. “Master Hobb will be out in a moment.” She kept her head down as she
addressed the other woman. “The cook says you are taking too long.”
Misha rounded on the younger woman with an angry hiss.
“There is more to good service than talking. Customers want some personal
attention.”
“And a meal,” the cleaning woman added meekly.
Misha huffed and stalked off toward the kitchen door.
The Fae King’s
Labyrinth
Courts in Conflict Book 2
Someone stole Azulin’s true name. Cursed to ride with the
Wild Hunt during each full moon, he is helpless against the Unseelie king’s
will. Over the years, the curse’s grip has strengthened, making Azulin’s magic
difficult to control. Fighting the curse has exhausted his spirit to the point
that he despairs of breaking its hold on him. Then one full moon, the curse
places him in a labyrinth, not a hunt. Perhaps this is his chance, or maybe
just a new form of torture.
Calypso is a shapeshifter who can’t change form. Living as an unpaid caregiver
and laborer in her sister’s household, her presence is barely tolerated in
their insular community. When a strange fae threatens her pregnant sister,
Calypso sacrifices herself. Perhaps an honorable death would give her life
purpose. Instead, she ended up fighting for her life in a pitch-black
labyrinth.
The Fae King’s Labyrinth is a light,
fantasy romance novella about a relationship between a Seelie fae and a mortal
woman. It features fae, found family, fated mates, and a romance between a
noble and a commoner, played out in a perilous maze and an equally dangerous
fae court.

against her life?
Lyra has grown up among the fae. She has been trained to be the perfect
servant. Then her master brings her to the Unseelie Court event of the year and
